THE FA have charged both Huddersfield Town and Crystal Palace after ugly scenes in the tunnel at the John Smiths Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Terriers won the match 1-0, courtesy of a James Vaughan goal, to end a win less streak of 12 matches.

A scuffle ensued at the end of the match, after Palace manager Ian Holloway was incensed over Alan Lee’s challenge on Mile Jedinak, further video evidence supports the honesty of the challenge in the air.

Official website htafc.com confirmed:-

‘Huddersfield Town can confirm it has been charged by the Football Association following Wednesday night’s win over Crystal Palace.

‘The Club has been charged on FA Rule E20(a) – failure to ensure that its players/officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

‘Visitors Crystal Palace have also been charged with the same offence. Huddersfield Town is considering its response and has until 4pm on 6 February to respond to the charge.’
