JERMAINE BECKFORD could be set for another spell on the sidelines after picking up a recurrence of a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace.

Beckford entered the game as a late substitute and lasted a mere seven minutes before having to limp off and be replaced by Alan Lee.

After the game it was reported that Beckford was devastated at the injury, and the club have yet to officially rule him out for a period of time, although caretaker boss Mark Lillis did confirm it looked a bad one.

Beckford will be sent for a scan to determine the full extent of the injury, the striker has for the record missed 7 matches through injury during his loan spell at Huddersfield.

Lillis is boosted however with the return to training of Academy product Chris Atkinson, who has missed the last 5 matches.

Recently called up to the Welsh squad, defender Joel Lynch, is also back in training but faces a tough ask to dislodge Peter Clarke & Anthony Gerrard.

Oscar Gobern is also back in training but is severely lacking in match practice, it was expected he would have a short term loan spell sorted out in the transfer window, but that failed to materialize.

Keith Southern (Achilles) and Danny Ward (Foot) both remain sidelined.
