The Football League board is to consider a proposal to scrap draws and decide matches by penalty shoot-outs.
The idea will be discussed by Football League chairmen and chief executives at a board meeting on Thursday.
No timescale has been given for implementing the change if the chairmen go ahead with the proposal.
The idea was originally put forward in the recent Football League Fans Survey.
There are currently two proposals to be considered – a traditional penalty shoot-out or where a player would have eight seconds to try and score after receiving the ball on the half-way line.

non starter, stupid idea.
I have never heard anything so ridiculous before.I would like to know who is behind this because I can’t believe anyone in their right mind who would think this is a good idea.
reasons why it is a bad idea
1) Football is the only team game played by the majority of the world meaning it is enjoyed by millions as it is so why change it.
2) Games could go on all night until someone missed a penalty.Game would therefore not last for 90 Min’s: anymore.
3) One team could have 30 shots on target,20 corners and 90% of play in the 90 Min’s:But still lose on penalty’s.
4) It would actually be possible for a team to win a particular league without winning one game in the 90 Min’s: you could win them all on penalty’s
5)The game would turn in to a complete farce.
I am sure I could think of many many more.

If that came to the Prem I’d stop going, some games deserve to be a draw. Football is going mad.
