JORDAN RHODES looks likely to miss Huddersfield Town’s game at Stevenage on Tuesday 28th February as he has been called up to the Scotland squad again.

Rhodes, 22, was on target for the young Scots in a 2-1 win over Holland in Nijmegen in November.

The 29 goal Huddersfield striker could be set to feature either Scotland`s senior friendly in Slovenia or their big European Under 21 Championship qualifier against Holland at Paisley.

National boss Craig Levein has made a string of trips to watch Rhodes this season as he builds towards the 2014 World Cup qualification campaign.

The Scots are up against Serbia, Macedonia, Wales, Croatia and Belgium with qualifiers running from this September to October 2013.

And they will tune-up with a trip to the USA in May, when the two nations will meet in Jacksonville on Saturday 26.

This latest call up will be a big blow for The Terriers as Stevenage will be set to pose a tough test and Huddersfield will have to cope without their 29 goal man.

Rhodes is firmly on course to become only the eighth player to notch 30 goals in a season for Town, he is currently on 74 career goals in the blue & white that places him ninth in the club’s all-time top scorers list.

Congratulations to Jordan on the latest call up. Lets hope we can get the three points at Stevenage without him!
