Neil Warnock – The favourite for the Huddersfield job has taken over the reigns at Leeds United.

The 63-year-olds appointment has seen him agree a deal until the end of next season – when he plans to retire.

Warnock is hoping to add one more promotion to his CV that would see him hold the record at eight.

He currently is on 7 career promotions an achievement he shares with Dave Bassett and Graham Taylor.

He has now thrown his hat into the ring with Leeds United and their chairman Ken Bates, who is a long time admirer of Warnock stated:-

‘We believe the appointment is arguably the most important we have made.

‘The objective was to appoint a manager who had for a proven track record of getting teams promoted and in Neil we have a man whose record is second to none.

‘We want to be in the Premier League and we will support Neil in the quest to get us there.’

So good luck to Neil in his final job at Leeds, there is a part of me that can’t stop thinking he has chosen the wrong West Yorkshire club.

The Search Continues…..
