Latest from the Vital Huddersfield latest poll, Next Manager – Who Do You Want?

The fans top pick may have chosen to join Yorkshire rivals Leeds United, but the man he has taken over for finished as runner up in our latest poll.

As the bookies suspended betting on the next Huddersfield Town market, our poll has come to a close.

Neil Warnock took the top spot after receiving nearly 70% of the vote – that suddenly declined following his decision to join Leeds United.

Runner up was Simon Grayson, who perhaps surprisingly topped Mick McCarthy in the poll result.

Lots of names have been mentioned with one of the fans choice being Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – but it would appear that Simon Grayson could have won the race for the Terriers top-job according to reports doing the rounds.

Warnock is still top after he ammassed an immense amount of votes – however with his decision to probably retire after next season – Grayson could prove to be a better long term choice. If he does indeed get appointed I would expect he will get 2/3 years here
