Following the defeat at Cardiff, Caretaker Manager Mark Lillis confirmed that Joe Lolley will be sidelined for approximately 10 days.

The young attacking winger had made a bright start to pre-season and featured as a substitute in the opening day loss to Bournemouth whilst then scoring, as a late substitute, in the Capital One Cup victory over Chesterfield.

Lillis also confirmed that club captain Lee Peliter is suffering from a Grade 1 groin injury, which also ruled the defender out of the Cardiff defeat.

With an away fixture at Reading quickly on the horizon, Town are already having to contend with injuries with Martin Paterson, James Vaughan and Anthony Gerrard already also on the treatment table.

Oliver Norwood & Duane Holmes who missed out on the squad, despite travelling to Wales at the weekend, will both be hoping for recalls for the trip to the Madeski stadium on Tuesday night.
