Lee Clark – Moving On

Former Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has certainly been doing the rounds since his dismissal from Huddersfield Town on Wednesday 15th February.

The Geordie spelled out his plans to get some more coaching experience under his belt before taking his next managerial job.

Clark & Terry McDermott and Steve Watson were recently on Sky Sports, Goals on Sunday programme, and were very respectful of Huddersfield Town when quizzed on their collective time with us.

This week he was spotted at his boyhood team’s training ground, Newcastle United, where he was taking a watching brief as Alan Pardew put the premier league side through their paces ahead of a clash with another of Clark’s former employers Norwich City.

He will have been able to give them the low down on Anthony Pilkington who has been one of Norwich’s key performers this season following his arrival from Huddersfield Town.

Clark’s next stops are planned to be at FC Twente and Manchester United.

It’s good to see Lee moving on and I am sure that he will be back in the game come the start of next season.

He may have fallen out of favour with a lot of Town fans but he is still a great bloke – and he will learn from his mistakes here (hopefully) and be a good manager
