21 Year-Old Jack Hunt is hoping for an immediate recall to the Huddersfield Town team after completing a two match ban for accumulating 10 yellow cards.

The right-back is expected to feature with either Calum Woods or Tom Clarke poised to make way for the Academy Graduate to return at right back.

Hunt was speaking to htafc.com ahead of the game:-

‘I have picked up a couple of sloppy bookings throughout the season and I knew they were totting up. I went a good few games without getting one but I knew that a time was going to come when I would face a suspension. I can probably take the slightest positive out of it with how quickly the ban has gone. With the results and how the lads have performed, it’s not nice watching from the sidelines when you would normally be involved, trying to put it right.’

He added:‘I became a fan for two games and to be honest I found it hard! Now I know why the fans get frustrated, because you know what the lads can do and they just didn’t do it. The important thing now is to put it right.’

‘We know we need to put the performances right – and quickly. If we carry on dwelling on it, we’ll take bad form into the Play-Offs and we don’t want to do that. We’ve got a couple of games left now to build some momentum to take it into the Play-Offs.’

The Terriers go into the match at Deepdale looking for a first win there since 1969!

The last appearance by Huddersfield at Preston was in a goalless draw back in April 2001, in the now Championship.

So with the last two games history favouring Town, and having lost both, perhaps the omen’s are better for this afternoon.

All we know is we need to start Winning and be a lot more ruthless with the teams we are facing as the lottery of the play-off will demand that attention.
