Town head to Deepdale in search of 3 points to cement their play-off spot in this seasons npower league one.

The Terriers require 4 points, to qualify for the knock-out competition, from their final four games.

Huddersfield are boosted by the return to training this week of Damien Johnson and Tommy Miller who now has a full weeks training behind him.

Grayson confirmed to htafc.com that despite their return may not mean more changes to his side:-

We have got one or two players returning from injury; Damien Johnson has returned to training and Tommy Miller has been back involved for the last week. I won’t be tinkering with the team for the sake of it over the next four games because we will be approaching each game with the intention of winning.

Town Fans will be hoping Lee Novak has recovered from the ankle injury that he originally picked up against Leyton Orient and also forced him off in the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

Novak missed the trip to Bournemouth and Grayson was remaining tight lipped on Novak’s fitness ahead of the trip to Preston, whilst also confirming there are a few other minor injuries in the camp, but no names were mentioned:-

‘Lee Novak missed the game and one or two others picked up knocks so we will see how they are after training on Friday. If they are not 100% then we won’t play them because I would rather them miss one game them three or four weeks by aggravating their injury.’

Hopefully it is gamesmanship as Novak does bring something to the team, when he isnt been played out of position on the right wing – a position Town have failed to address since selling star player Anthony Pilkington.

There is Pay On The Gate still available for the Preston game, if you fancy popping along to support the boys.
