Gerry Murphy wont let us or you down
I have bags of respect for Gerry Murphy, but can’t anyone see he is one of the reasons we don’t delve into the transfer market as much as we maybe should? i.e he does not want anyone ousting any of ‘his kids’ (Holdsworth, Worthington, Collins, Clarke(s)) to name but a few. Sorry, but these ‘kids’ are now experienced pros and are just not good enough to get us out of this league. Does Mr Murphy think one of his ‘kid’ keepers is good enough for league 1? Again, sorry but they are miles away.
Good point molly, but lets face it apart from Page, ritchie signings have been not that great. Jacko brought Taylor-Fletch and Brandon, who were and are good additions to the club. Ritchie should have clung on to Fletch but I guess Fletch wanted to go.
We do need a lot of signings in the summer dont we, A striker a scoring midfielder, a right back and holding player.
Hope we get someone in who can attract players to the club.

A right winger would be good, not convinced by Kamara.
We’ve been crying out for a striker with pace for 4 or 5 years now!!
A midfielder that runs beyond the strikers with pace would do nicely.
