A couple of days ago, one contributor to this site, commenting on the departure of Andy Ritchie, which was closely followed by that of John Dungworth, posted saying that

‘Im more confident than Ive been in months, all we need now is to hear the club are going to convert the pink link into a new cowshed , that Alan Shearer is the new manager and beer prices are to be slashed on match days!!!
