Huddersfield Town travel to Bury today, with around 200 fans walking to the ground in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ Campaign, and Simon Grayson spelled out his intentions come 3pm on Saturday.

Simon says!! ‘A couple of goals, a clean sheet and three points are all that I want to see,’

I think that’s all we all want to see, and to go on a good winning run!

Grayson continued with his statement to htafc.com:-

‘At this moment in time it doesn’t matter how we do it though – it’s about winning football matches. If that means scraping a one goal victory or winning by four, it doesn’t matter at this stage of the season – we need to accumulate points.’

‘We will be very positive and take the game to Bury. It is slightly different away from home because the onus is on the home team, which may make the game more open. We will need to win our individual battles and pass the ball better than we did at Stevenage, because we gave the ball away too cheaply on Tuesday night.

‘I have been to Gigg Lane quite a few times as a manager in pre-season with Leeds and Blackpool. It is a tight ground and they are fighting for their lives, scrapping for points; we know we are in for a tough game, but it will be a good atmosphere and we will take a good number of fans. The fans that travelled to Stevenage created a fantastic atmosphere and were very vocal.’

Tickets for the Bury game are still available at Gigg Lane on Saturday – pay on the gate.
