Damien Johnson has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks.

The tough tackling northern Irish international who is on loan at Town from cash strapped Plymouth picked up a hamstring injury in last weeks home loss against Bournemouth.

Manager Lee Clark spoke to htafc.com:-

He wouldn’t come off last Saturday when he felt the pull with about seven or eight minutes to go, which shows the type of character he is – he didn’t want us to be down to 10 men when we were trying to get a result from the game. He will be out for two to three weeks.

Johnson has been in good form this season for Huddersfield and his injury means that a space is open for another of the large squad to grab.

Tom Clarke could be in contention but perhaps more likely is the inclusion of Oscar Gobern who has been missing for weeks through niggling injuries.
