HUDDERSFIELD TOWN manager Mark Robins says Adam Hammill must ‘grow up’ after the winger’s public show of petulance during the 2-1 defeat at Wigan.

Hammill took to twitter to immediately apologise

Disappointed after today’s game! Thought the town fans were excellent again! My reaction to being subbed was poor so I apologise frustration

Robins confirmed that Hammill had apologised to him personally as well as the Town dressing room, but Robins insisted that Hammill will have to change his attitude:

‘Adam is going to end up paying us money to play for us because he’s being fined every week,’

‘Nothing really surprises me with Adam. That’s just him – he needs to grow up.

‘He’s just been to see me and apologised and that’s what happens – I fine him and we get on with it, until the next time.’
Said Robins of the recently named BWF player of the month Adam Hammill.

The tantrum clearly amused the home fans who chanted “he’s gonna cry in a minute” as Hammill left the field
