Huddersfield Town have today made an offer of 250k for Carlisle Striker Danny Graham.
Graham, who has 13 for the season including one vs Town on boxing day, is a former Middlesbrough trainee.
His goal scoring record at Carlisle is 37 goals in 92 games, and with his contract up at the end of the season, he could be on his way soon.
However it is being reported that Carlisle have turned the offer down
Carlisle chief executive David Allen had this to say, speaking to the news& star:-
‘Danny Graham is a top goalscorer and it is inevitable he is going to attract interest,’
‘We can confirm there has been quite a bit of interest, even though it is very early days in the transfer window.
‘And the type of money that has been talked about is well short of the price that we would put on Danny. We see him as a valuable asset to the club.’
Quite obviously a ploy to start a bidding war, but nice to seen Town linked with quality players!
Lets wait and see!
