Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kenny Lunt is the latest player to be linked with a move to Huddersfield Town this summer.

The former Crewe midfield didn’t impress former Owls manager Paul Sturrock but with Brian Laws coming in, Lunt had been a key figure in Laws plans towards the end of the last campaign.

But the Owls boss is said to be looking to strengthen in the midfield department.

Town boss Andy Ritchie seems to think Lunt could be a useful addition to the terriers squad, following his impressive performances in League One during his long spell at Crewe.

The 27-year-old has made 30 appearances, without scoring for the Owls since his free transfer summer move from Gresty Road last summer, but has failed to really impress the Wednesday fans.
