Huddersfield Town capatain Peter Clarke is set to miss Saturday’s clash with Championship leaders Cardiff City.

The skipper suffered concussion in the defeat at Derby and had to be replaced at half time by Scotland U21 international Murray Wallace.

Clarke, was sent immediately to hospital, and after being assessed for the concussion suffered doctors have ruled that he must sit out match action for 2 weeks.

It’s a big blow for the Terriers with only Anthony Gerrard fit as an experienced centre half many expect Murray Wallace to deputise, whilst others have called for a recall for forgotten man Tom Clarke.

Joel Lynch has been back in training but is rated doubtful after withdrawing from the mid-week Welsh squad.
