New contracts have been handed to six of Huddersfield’s most promising development squad players.

Goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson’s impact has earned him a two-year deal with defender Tom Smith and striker Max Leonard doing enough to earn one-year deals.

Initial six-month contracts have also been handed to defenders James Burke and Robbie McIntyre along with midfielder Dale Hopson.

It’s now down to these players to continue to impress Mark Robins and prove that they’re worthy of a place in his long-term plans, and moving up from the development to first-team squad will be something they’ll be looking for sooner rather than later.
