NEIL WARNOCK has been spotted in Monaco meeting with Ken Bates and Leeds United chief executive Shaun Harvey.

One can only presume that the meeting was not a chance encounter and that they were indeed discussing the vacant Leeds United hot-seat.

Bates has been on the lookout for a new manager since disposing of Simon Grayson.

Warnock has of course been linked with a return to Huddersfield Town however if that was to happen then Dean Hoyle would have to move quickly to bring the fans choice back home.

Warnock is currently the favourite with the bookies to take over at both Leeds United and Huddersfield Town.

The meeting with Bates today at 12:30pm, where they sipped coffee and wine at the Cafe de Paris, Monaco – may see an announcement from Leeds very soon if a deal has been agreed.

It is well known that Ken Bates has a great respect for Warnock and with Warnock junior working already with Leeds in an agent capacity, this could spell the end of the Huddersfield job link.

The fans would be devastated at Town as many Leeds fans don’t want an Ex-Town boss, just as many at Huddersfield don’t want an Ex-Leeds boss as Simon Grayson has also had his name mentioned with the post at Town.

Stay tuned as this saga develops….
