The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Huddersfield Town host Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday April 2 for the game at the John Smith’s Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Iain Williamson
Linesmen: Philip Dermott and Jonathan Hunt
Fourth Official: Mark Heywood
Match Day referee Williamson is yet to officiate a Huddersfield game this season.
He has however taken in 30 matches so far this season and in those games in 2015-16, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 111 yellow cards and six red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Sheffield United and Coventry in December with a total of seven yellows shown, plus one red. He’s showed six yellow cards in four games.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
