The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Queens Park Rangers this coming Monday.
Huddersfield Town travel to Queens Park Rangers on Monday December 28 for the game at Loftus Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Brendan Malone
Linesmen: Stuart Butler and Carl Brook
Fourth Official: Elliott Kaye
Match Day referee Malone (Wiltshire) has officiated one Huddersfield game this season – the two all draw with Reading in November. In that game he showed four yellow cards, three to Huddersfield.
He has however already taken in seventeen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 38 yellow cards and three red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Portsmouth and Accrington Stanley on September 5 with a total of seven yellows being shown.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
