MARK HUDSON has today been transfer-listed by Town.

The 25-year-old midfielders been deemed potentially surplus to requirements with a week of the transfer window to go.

‘Mark Hudson’s name is being circulated and we’ll see what comes of that, Mark is in the same situation as Pawel Abbott in that there aren’t the first-team opportunities here at the moment that he wants’ said Jackson

Hudson has lost his first team place and made only one start this year. Although he has made 23(1 sub) apperarances from 29 league starts, so he could hardly be dubbed a fringe squad member.

The news comes coincindentally and suprisingly, as Peter Jackson revealed bids for a striker and defender from higher up the league structure have been rejected.

The manager now hopes another defender from a Premiership club may come to the Galpharm on loan until the end of the season.

On the transfer front, Jackson added: ‘It’s proving difficult, but we’ve still got a week left.’

Worrying times for terrier fans, one player gone another one heading for the door, in what currently seems to be a one way traffic heading away from the galpharm.

No doubt Peter Jackson’s knows something he’s not letting on about !
