Keigan Parker became Stan Ternent’s first signing when he moved to Huddersfield last month and he is looking forward to showing the fans what he can do.

After an injury plagued season Parker was offered a new contract by Blackpool but turned this down and felt it was time to move on, and this was to Huddersfield’s advantage now he is out to impress: ‘If I show what I’m capable of I’ve no doubt that I’ll be in the team,’ Parker told the official website. ‘I’ve played at this level before and had a pretty decent scoring record, but having not played that much at Blackpool last season perhaps I have a bit to prove to other people.

‘Some of that was down to factors other than footballing ability. When you turn down a contract at a club, it’s very rare that the club will still play you.’

Do you feel Parker right to leave Blackpool for Huddersfield, and how much of an impact do you think he will make at the Galpharm Stadium?
