Vital Huddersfield member sums up the Huddersfield Vs Swindon Town player performances

Vital member Impact gives us his views on the Huddersfield Town players performances today against Swindon

Smithies – 4 or 6.

If there was a deflection on the 2nd goal, he gets 6. Otherwise it was poor keeping and gets 4.

Peltier – 5.

Looked good going forward, gave way too much space to the winger for the first goal.

P Clarke – 7.

Solid again, great goal

Trottman – 5.

Very good in the air but cant play with the ball at his feet

Heffernan – 7.5.

Great game, didnt make a mistake and looked dangerous on the attack

Roberts – 7.

Played well, looked dangerous especially 2nd half and great corner for the goal

Pilkington – 7.

Beat the full back every time but corssing could have been better.

Collins – 7.

Got forward well and actually put himself about

Kay – 7.

Looks like a different player. Passing was good and he even made a couple of slide tackles

Rhodes – 7.

Good in the air, good link up play.

Novak – 8.

Stand out man for me. Held the ball up well, chased everything, never stopped.

Robinson – 4.

Why play him when we actually have someone who can play up front on the bench?

Referee – 3.

Every time a swindon player went down, he gave a freekick. Missed a blatent penalty and it took 4 cynical fouls to bookt he right back

Both Liners – 7.

Nothing major but seemed to get everything right.

more than happy for you to do it every week if you want!

  • Impact says:

Yeah why not. Im up at hartlepool next week so Ill do those as well. Although I may need to check spelling next time!

  • Impact says:

Oh and it looks like it was a howler from Smithies as there was no deflection

  • jimyorky says:

you got most of that right but Trotman kept heading the ball straight up in the air and putting us back under pressure and Peltier was hiding at the back and not picking anybody up, definately to blame for the first goal 3 points each, yet to see what the manager sees in either of them

  • Impact says:

Peltier is just going through a bad patch – he was one of our msot consistent performers in 2009 and imo is the best right-back since Steve Jenkins. Trottman did ok seeing as Clarke was struggling against Paynter as well but just cant play on the floor.
