Ex-Huddersfield Town striker Theo Robinson who joined Millwall on a permanent deal in January following a successful loan spell for a reported £300,000 has now departed The Lions for a loan spell at Derby County!!
The Watford academy graduate, who has also played for Southend, spoke to the Derby Evening Telegraph about the move:-
‘I wasn’t really settling in at Millwall as well as I’d hoped. So I’ve moved back to Birmingham and I’m looking forward to a new challenge now.
‘Derby is close to Birmingham and it’s a good, established Championship club. I’ve got my friends and family close by, so that’s good, and now I just want to play football.’
You may have thought he would have figured this out prior to penning a permanent deal with Millwall or maybe he simply was that desperate to get out of Huddersfield?
Good Luck to him at Derby, where he made a scoring start on his debut.
