    Michael Collins!

9th goal, strange how some people say he shouldn’t be on the pitch, but pops up with vital goals here and there.

  • Huddersfield550 says:

lets see if we end up 1-1 like usual though…

  • Impact says:

yeah, he shouldnt. he spends 90% of the match running around in cricles like a dog chasing its own tail. sure he’s knocked in a few goals but i cant help thinking that we’d ahve conceded less goals if we had someone like craney or flynn playing in there who actually put themselves around. jim goodwin might have played a few more games as well with less suspensions.

  • Huddersfield550 says:

yeah someone like Flynn…not Craney, he gives away more freekicks in the team, butts into everyone. just can’t stand him, hope he goes in the summer.

  • Impact says:

he’s on a long term contract like nearly everyone turnip signed.

i want to see craney with goodwin behind him, now we have a manger with half a brain. may see some explosive stuff from him.

and i’d rather he gave away free-kicks around half way and gets stuck in like he does that doing what collins does in letting them run past and force a defender or goodwin to put in a risky challenge at the edge of the box.

Pilkington is the best signing Lee CLark has made and easily one of the best signings period in recent times IMO

  • Impact says:

pilks, roberts, goodwin, butler all good signings. roberts off the boil recently but compare him to pilks at about the same number of games for town and i would say that maybe roberts nicks it. goodwin has been outstanding for a while, and butler has for the season. but pilks sure does look like one hell of a player.
