HTFC – Robbie Simpson up for Ultimate finish award

Robbie Simpson is among 10 scorers nominated by Johnstone`s Paint for the first ‘Ultimate Finish` award of the season.

The Town striker netted for loan club Brentford in their Trophy first-round win at Stevenage, one of his four goals so far for the Bees.

The 25-year-old, whose only Huddersfield Town goal came in last season`s JPT first-round win at Rotherham, hopes to return from a hamstring injury to play for Brentford against Hartlepool today.

Town meanwhile will make their JPT Trophy entrance with a home second-round tie against Peterborough on Tuesday, after receiving a first-round bye.
