Steve Black has departed Huddersfield Town for pastures news after suffering some personal reasons
The motivational speaker and fitness coach who joined Town in December 2008 and has made a large contribution towards Town’s development over the last 24 months, just think how many injuries have we realistically had? He managed to get Danny Cadermarteri fit! remember!
Lee Clark spoke to htafc.com:-
”Blackie’ has left for personal reasons and I know he will be celebrating the Club’s success if we are promoted come the end of the season.’
So a big high five to Steve, I’m sure he will do well in the future, a genuine bloke if ever you wished to meet one, I used to bump into him fairly regularly whilst filling up my car in Town, always had time for a chat.

This is a strange one for me and makes me wonder if there’s more to it than meets the eye? Seems odd that our motivational coach walks days after our chairman questions the teams motivation? Hope I’m wrong. Any whispers 24?
I really wouldn’t be surprised if Hoyle’s programme notes sparked this and led to a big argument. Blackie seems like a very proud man to me.
