Huddersfield have run out 3-1 losers at Crewe this afternoon after 2 minutes of madness early in the second half.
Even the introduction of Booth couldn’t inspire The Terriers as the Jekyl and Hyde side of Huddersfield reared its ugly head again.
After having much of the play in the first half, Town simply failed to turn up in the second half and were punished by Crewe on 58 and 60 minutes.
Alex Smithies made several crucial saves to keep the score down to 3, but Lee Clark must now turn to the away game at Stockport as he still searches for his first away win as Town boss.

Poor choice of tactics today
Clark got it wrong
The slim hopes of the playoffs are now over….
very badly wrong
24 do you know anything about the Tehoue situation..
yes its in the hands of FIFA, he is still training and LC cant wait to unleash him the whole situation is frustrating but they are hopeful it will be through next week!
craney should have started to help lukas out more. maybe even start with jevons just to keep at 4-4-2.
o’reigan sounded devastated on the radio, apparently our new man got it all wrong, what i dont understand is how come this tactical genius we have, terry mac is it? how come we arnt getting r tactics spot on if this guy is 1st class, there second goal was due to butler tranna play football at the corner flag sometimes we gotta remember how to do the ugly stuff good.We wont b able to play anything too fancy on saturday either cos stockports pitch is Fu@@ed. i was gutted to here pilks wasnt playing anybody no why werling was dropped?
so booth could play. if we only had 1 striker on, we have to have 2 on the bench so we can go 4-4-2 if needed and also bring off lukas when he gets tired (or any striker for that matter). the formation would have worked if we had pushed 2 mids to support lukas, and not one (hence craney!) with goodwin sitting in front of that defence.
