The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Huddersfield Town and Swansea City this Saturday.
Huddersfield Town host Swansea City on Saturday March 10 for the game at the John Smith’s Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Michael Oliver
Assistant Refs: Simon Bennett and Stuart Burt
Fourth Official: Jonathan Moss
Match Day referee Oliver has officiated 31 games in 2017/18, showing 112 yellow cards and five red cards so far.
He took in 44 games in 2016/17 with a return of 138 yellow cards and five red cards.
His highest card count that season was seven yellows in the game between Watford and Manchester United.
He took in 36 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 131 yellow cards and nine red cards.
He was most card happy in the Capital One Cup final between Liverpool and Manchester City in February with ten yellow cards being shown.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
