Football managers, don’t you just love em.
We at Vital Huddersfield, can only hope that Andy Ritchie avoids such verbal hypocrisy as the ‘big clubs’ managers can display.
Ahead of tonights second leg Champions league semi final at Anfield, between Chelsea and Liverpool.
Have the two managers somehow contrived a body swap ahead of tonight’s Champions League semi-final at Anfield with Jose Mourinho adopting a low-key approach and Rafa Benitez delivering a series of swipes at his Chelsea opponent.
According to Rafa, Jose’s recent tinkering, in which he rested some of their key players has cost him the league title.
Er come off it Rafa.
Mr Benitez should know. His stupendous tinkering at the start of the season, in which he prolonged his run of failing to name an unchanged line-up to 99, yes thats 9 and 9, really yes 99 not 9, successive matches before finally seeing sense or losing his nerve with the ton up on the horizon, was and is still widely considered to be the principal reason why Liverpool pretty much were out of the title race by October.
A double take moment
ITV Football: ‘Chelsea will aim to keep a clean sheet at all costs and only a fool would bet against them achieving this.’
Their prediction? ‘Liverpool 1 Chelsea 0.’
And finally
‘Our supporters know that they are the special ones‘ – Rafa still giving Jose the verbal volleys’.
Vital view – Should be an interesting viewing evening, on and off the pitch.

Fight, fight, fight, can see it coming.
Its all just mind games….
if Chelsea go through, Jose will be back to his verbal best.
leave rafa alone anyone that can shut Mourinho up, is on to something.
If only we were involved.
