Airdrieonians striker Liam Coogans is on a weeks trial with Huddersfield Town.
The 17-year-old has had previous trail spells with Celtic and Blackburn Rovers and will spend the week with Mark Robins Terriers at their Canalside training complex.
Huddersfield have proven that they are looking to the future with several captures in recent weeks of Nahki Wells, Sondre Tronstad & Joe Lolley and a significant investment in the club’s development squad.
