Huddersfield Town confirmed yesterday evening that 24 year old winger Harry Bunn had completed a permanent move to Bury.

He heads to the League One side in time to potentially debut for them this weekend as they kick off their campaign but the terms of the deal seeing him head to Gigg Lane are undisclosed.

He now joins up with former Town manager Lee Clark and there are familiar faces already in their camp with former goalkeeper Joe Murphy, one time loanee Jermaine Beckford and full back Joe Skarz on their books.

Bunn joined us from Manchester City in December 2013, turning a loan spell into a permanent move after just two months.

He made 70 starts and 28 substitute appearances for Huddersfield during his time with us in the Championship, scoring 17 times in the process and six of those starts, and ten substitute showings came in our successful promotion winning campaign last year.

Speaking to the Official Site as his move was announced, head coach David Wagner explained.

‘Harry is a great character and has been a good player for this Club for a long time, but this move to Bury works for everyone now. Everyone here at Huddersfield Town would like to thank Harry for what he has done for the Club and wishes him all the best for the future.’
