DOUGIE FREEDMAN has finally landed the signing of Jermaine Beckford for Bolton Wanderers.
The striker has completed a permanent transfer from Leicester City and signed a two-year deal with Bolton for an undisclosed fee
Beckford was of course on-loan with Huddersfield Town last season scoring 8 goals in 21 appearances as the Terriers avoided relegation back to league one.
However Beckford’s wage demands meant Town were unable to offer a financially viable offer for Beckford and turned attention elsewhere.
Good luck to Jermaine at Bolton, having met him last season, he is one of the good guys

Good luck to Jermaine, shame we could never afford to have kept him.
