Huddersfield Town striker Luke Beckett talked to htafc.com today about the two disallowed goals he didn’t end up scoring against Cheltenham, ruled out by referee Shoebridge.

‘The ball came into the box and I went up for the header – it’s not like I jumped all over him. I’ve seen the incident on TV and I don’t think that my arm went up but I understand that the referee has disallowed the goal for an elbow and even if my arm was up there, everybody jumps with their arms up a little.

‘I think that the referee got a few things wrong throughout the game. I thought he gave needless free-kicks on occasions but then he missed two penalties as well and after speaking to the Gaffer today, I understand that my first disallowed goal early on was in fact onside.
