Where Are They Now ? – Lee Duxbury

Lee Duxbury only played one season for Huddersfield Town between 1994-95 season making 29 league appearances scoring two goals, he had signed in a deal worth around £250,000 with Lee Sinnott also joining Huddersfield and Graham Mitchell going in the opposite direction

However the season that he spent at Huddersfield was to be an eventful one with Neil Warnock leading The Terriers to promotion via the play-offs.

It was also the first season to be played at Huddersfield Town’s new home, the then named Alfred McAlpine Stadium.

Duxbury left at the end of that season to rejoin Bradford City for a cut price £135,000.

His time at Huddersfield was short lived but successful, Duxbury also went on to play for Oldham and Bury after his second stint at Bradford was over.

So where is he now?

Lee is currently employed by Saturdays opponents Oldham as their reserve team manager!

It also seems wisdom does come with age as he spoke to Oldham s official site after their recent reserve defeat to Preston, where the Latics had been reduced to 10 men:-

‘At one stage I was like Lee Cattermole and was continually getting sent off and letting my team mates down.

‘It was a case of changing my style and channelling my aggression in the right way.’,/i>

So we look forward to crossing paths with Lee Duxbury once again come Saturday, but will be hoping all 3 points return to Yorkshire.
