Lionel Ainsworth and Anthony Pilkington are all set to make their home debuts for Huddersfield Town

Fellow new signing Domonik Werling could also take a place on the bench with the in-form Robbie Williams maintaining his place in the starting XI.

Town of course will be looking to avenge the 4-0 away defeat suffered earlier this season under Stan Ternent’s dismal reign as Town chief.

Dom Green of course chose Peterborough over Town and he is likely to feature from the bench.

Vital Quotes:

Town Boss Lee Clark spoke to the Yorkshire Post about todays game, he had this to say:-

‘I don’t live in the past – if you live in the past, you die in the past. The mentality at the club is different compared to the start of the season and I am sure our players will be determined to put on a performance and get the three points.’

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Booth still out, and Roberts serves the second of his 3 game suspension.

Worthington has of course gone out on loan to Yeovil, and so is unavaliable for the game

Player to watch: Ainsworth & Pilkington

Both will be out to impress their new fans and both could be set for a starting slot as Lee Clark ponders changes following last weeks disapointing 1-0 defeat at Yeovil

Peterborough Team News:

Craig Morgan is avaliable after suspension.

Williams, Day and Blackett are all out long term.

Player to watch: Mackail-Smith

Tricky front man who has like a number of posh players been linked with a big money move away from Darren Ferguson’s young team

i thought both williams and smithies had weird games. robbie did a lot fo things right but the odd lapse of concentration nearly cost us. alex made some great saves but dropped more today than he has all season 94 or 5 i think). His kicking wasnt too great either.

Jevons put in more effort than i have seen before. would ahve liked to see colins go off for craney and aprker on for jevon at end as both were tired and collins was never int he game except for the goal.

  • Pharmer Giles says:

Was that you on Radio Leeds Impact, because that’s pretty much what one caller said. I thought Clarky would have brought Parker on for Jevons as well, but a good hard fought three points. Should boost the confidence after two defeats

  • Impact says:

nah i text not call. plus the guy didnt say anything about smithies having a weird game, only robbie
