  • Huddersfield550 says:

thats the end of the promotion push then for this season I guess….

  • Impact says:

slightly harsh. the amount of fouls not given on him and the knocks up front he got was amazing. he’s pretty strong and can hold ball up but no one is there for him to give it to. and we dont get the ball to his feet enough when he is near goal – we decide to shoot from 40 yards instead. if we can work some black magic (et it, black as in steve and…oh never mind) and get him fit then he might be better. cant see him starting ont ues as clark was clearly unhappy with him when he brough him off so soon.

  • Thaibluefan says:

Not what you wanted – I agree with the fans who have posted. Season over – accept mid table and try again next season.

lukas is a lazy t.w.a.t i dont by this fitness carry on he has been with everton all season so he should of had good fitness training. i dont think he is anything special, fair enuff we didnt get the ball to his feet that much but i dont think he is that good with his feet anyway. he won a few headers thats it. And the playoffs were lossed when we through the stockport game away. think we should start planning for next season lets hope then we can get it right, we need firepower. LEROY LITA was going cheap this season, 350,000 im sure i heard. we need championship/fringe prem players and fast

Williams, Crainey, Lucketti. All deadwood. Nothing personal against them but are they really the future for HTFC? When Gerry Murphy took charge the last 2 occasions he brought in the likes of Smithies, Berrett, Scarz etc gave them their chance and they were brilliant, look at our results in both occasions? its no coincidence. Smithies would still be sat on the bench and Glennon would be between the sticks, hes a future premiership player. Berrett Ireland U21 international, Huddersfield lad who when played in CM holds his own even against Chelsea and Birmingham. Scarz needs to toughen up but hes got a sweet left foot and ccould go on to be a quality player. Theyre the future of Town, yet everytime your Kamaras, Craineys,Flynns, Luckettis (how old is he now) suddenly find their way back into the first team, for no apparent reason. And dont get me started on the recent loan signings, the odd loan deal now and again can work well but its hardly sustainable. We had Dickenson got him scoring and now look where he is, effing Leeds Utd!

I don’t agree with you Yiddo on the Williams, however the Craney and Lucketti I do to some point, Craney is simply awful I agree on that, Lucketti can help out our young defenders with experience, but shouldn’t be playing all this time, when we have Tom Clarke on the bench who looks lively and good. Lucketti couldn’t get back into his own half most the time after corners in time.
I think your forgetting Williams was in the promotion winning side Blackpool(I know I’;ve said that a million times) but it’s a simple fact, why would he be in the side that gains promotion if he’s crap?
shame we didn’t tie Dickinson back to us in January, we could have done with him recently.
Skarz is rubbish, unless he mans up and actually uses his right foot aswell, can’t see him being better than Williams, he’s too fragile.
Kamara is just awful too, I’ve always believed he should be gone by now.
Berrett does play well, and I think he should be in the starting line up more often.
when Gerry Murphy took charge he said to Williams that he would not start under him…because he wanted all this own youth players he coached in the team, but he still impressed and got in didn’t he?
I’ve said it a million times, I’d rather see Flynn ahead of Craney.

see the forums regarding my views on craney. can be bothered repeating them. Williams is betetr than scarz. towards the start of the year, it was close. but now williams has his confidence back, its a no brainer. and i would suggest werling was the 2nd choice now. as for tom clarke, i dont see him as a centre half, more a central mid. we dont have cover for centre half, and lucketti is the only one to play. he has experience there and he can head the ball and hoof it out of the way. i wouldnt want him to play but im glad he did over anyone else. the sooner nathan gets back, the better.

  • White Rabbit says:

I think there are some unduly harsh words above – fact is that any side needs reserves, and they’re not going to be as good as the people in the first team; if they were they’d be in either our first team or somebody else’s. Skarz is a decent reserve left-back, Lucketti is a decent reserve centre-half still, though I’d prefer Tom Clarke (who has been played all over the shop which can’t have helped him) and though he was crap yesterday Craney is probably a decent reserve midfielder. Although I’ve always had misgivings about Williams, he has been one of Town’s best players since Christmas. As for Jutciewicz, it’s ridiculous expecting a 19-year-old loan player to carry your forward line without experienced support.

  • Impact says:

thank you rabbit, although saying clarke is crap is a bit harsh seeing as he only played 8 minutes.

  • White Rabbit says:

You’ve misread my post Impact, it was CRANEY who I thought was crap not T Clarke; you’re quite right, eight minutes is no time to judge anyone

  • terrier09 says:

tom clarke has and always as been the terriers main utility player he can play anywhere, he is a versatile player, thats why he recently signed a new contract. i agree wiv 550 on the juctavic or wot eva e is called been 2 inexperianced to b expected to run it up top. i dont rate him send him back, fink he has had 1 decent shot in half a dozen games he is poop!!!!!!

  • Impact says:

and how many times has he been given the chance to shoot? and if im not right, one shot he did led to pilkington’s goal.

  • terrier09 says:

but he doesnt even look hungry
