  • 80s terrier says:

Thanks again for taking the time to upload these stats 24..Electric atmosphere…Wheres the lad Tehoue clearance..??? We could have had leeds dead and buried well before half time with a half decent finisher..

  • terrier09 says:

i was dissapointed the beast never made it maybe he might have his clearance 4 gresty s@@t hole road. we never get anything there, a real bogey team!!!

  • 80s terrier says:

YOU were dissapointed 09 .. I was devastated…WE NEED THIS MAN IN THE SIDE ASAHP

  • 80s terrier says:

Did fabian delph play today.??? I didnt notice..

  • Impact says:

being serious, with no bias, i dont see what all this hype about delph is. he doesnt affect the game, he sees very little ball and his distribution isnt good. im not saying that as a town fan, i’m saying that as a football fan.

  • Terrier24 says:

back in goodwins pocket!!!! Lol maybe he’s let him out now… Shame about Tehoue, but the issue is with FIFA now… hope it comes soon as roberts isnt a striker,

  • Terrier24 says:

Thanks guys! Good game, we lost our way a touch 2nd half, as we lost the out ball to Ainsworth but defended well and Leeds never really posed a serious threat at goal… Smithies starting to look more confident altho his kickin at times is odd… but hes young Top Game Top result!! GET IN!!

  • Impact says:

yeah i noticed. 1st half they were…awful. 2nd half not bad. he keeps going on crap kicking spells 😉

Just another day at the office for Town, brushed L**Ds aside roll on next Saturday……..just another game wasn’t it yids?? And Delph, £10mil?? did he play? I didn’t see him?? Don’t think anyone else did.
Smithies was awesome – my fingernails have gone! Butler was simply outstanding, in command and like a general ordering all and sundry on that back line – totally solid. Top goal Clarke, my brain is like a repeating video – just keeps on playing in my mind!!! Roberts good but not at his best – understandable – Ainsworth was excellent on the right BUT he needs to learn it’s a team game – quite a few instances he was game on for feeding an offside beating ball but kept it every time – frustrating but i’m sure he’ll be told. Pilks – solid and in the thick of it – great prospect – Goodwin was a bit hit and miss but played his part, Lukas looked knackard at the end, but was always in the right place at the right time – he’ll come good for us…..and well done the rest – commited performance.
    Anyway……onto next week…………….. 😉

  • Impact says:

if ainsworth had been on the pitch until the end, he could have got motm. you could see the difference after h/t. can’t knock his performance at all. Goodwin had a damn good game, but i still think he’s carrying collins around a bit, mick just seems to be running around in circles half of the time not really making tackles andmaking the odd run on goal. i really want craney to be given the chance again. Lukas was knackered for most of the match but that will come. AND CLARKE ACTUALLY GOT A HEADER ON TARGET…AND SCORED!!!

  • 80s terrier says:

Pretty much the way i saw it too Impact..

  • Impact says:

does anyone have the attendance vs liverpool? if think it was about 22.5-23k but im not sure. if it was, then this was the 2nd highest at the ground.

  • White Rabbit says:

The attendance for the Liverpool cup-tie on 12.12.99 was 23,678 so the answer, Impact, is that this was the second-highest gate at the ground and the highest-ever for a league match (previous best 20,241 v Sunderland on 21.10.98).

  • Impact says:

hmm, knew it was high. heard oggy saying it was highest league attendance at the ground, but let’s be honest, when have we ever sold 16k seaosn tickets for £100 each?
