Spencer loaned to The Iron

Huddersfield Town striker Jimmy Spencer has joined Scunthorpe United on loan for 6 months.

Spencer who has had previous loan spells away from the club with Northwich, Morecambe, Cheltenham, Brentford and Crawley will remain at Glanford park until 5 January inclusive.

Spencer’s last loan spell was cut short through injury but the striker has worked hard through pre-season and Mark Robins has decided the young striker needs game time, something he is unlikely to get at Huddersfield at the moment.

Spencer has made just one start and one substitute appearance for Huddersfield, both came at the start of last season.

Town also have Chris Atkinson & Jordan Sinnott, who are also away for 6 month loan deals at Tranmere & Bury respectively.

All three will be monitored closely during their spells away from the club
