HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have parted company with performance coach Tom Little, who has joined Lee Clark’s backroom setup at Birmingham City.

Little joined Town in 2011, as part of Lee Clark’s backroom staff, and despite staying on after the Geordie’s departure has now upped and left.

Mark Robins had brought in Darren Robinson as head of performance, with Little taking care of the fitness coaching, and the club have announced that they are now in the process of replacing Little.

Lee Clark was delighted to be re-united, as he now has his whole backroom staff from his time at Huddersfield employed at Birmingham, he spoke to the Birmingham official website:-

‘Tom is very good at what he does and gets the players extremely fit which is important for the way I want us to play,’

‘He`s obviously worked at all levels of the game – Premier League, Championship and League One. I think Huddersfield were sad to see him go, but they made changes at managerial level. We look forward to him being part of a successful group at Birmingham City.’

We all move on in life, but if he kept our players ‘Fit’ then maybe we will be in better shape for next season, with many fans feeling that some of the players just were not fit at times last season!
