Huddersfield Town have rejected a bid from Brighton for midfielder Adam Clayton, according to reports.
The south coast club are on the look out for midfield reinforcement’s after losing Andrew Crofts to injury and with Sunderland planning a swoop for Liam Bridcutt.
Huddersfield however have flatly rejected the bid and insist they will not sell the 25-year-old.
Clayton spent a time out of the Huddersfield side and his future looked bleak at one point but the midfielder has got back into the side and on current form is arguably one of Town’s key players.
Good to see the club come out and reject this so quickly. I for one believe that this is the end of this story.
