Referee Keith Stroud is the man in the middle and at time of writing has taken charge of 19 games and issued a quite high 85 yellow cards and 5 Red’s. That’s an average of just under 4 and a half yellows per game!

Stroud joined National List of referees in 2004 and in the same year he became a FIFA listed assistant referee. During the 2006/2007 season Stroud was trialled has a Select Group Official taking charge of his first Premier League match in March 2007 at Middlesbrough. He was included in the Select list in 2007/2008 at which point Stroud relinquished his role with FIFA.

Huddersfield had Stroud take charge of three Championship matches last season, the memorable away victory at Wolves being the highlight, but also a 0-3 away defeat to Derby and a 0-1 home defeat to Charlton.

Stroud hasn’t taken charge of a Grimsby match since 2009, which was the year that saw them slip out of the Football League.
