Huddersfield left-back Anthony Lloyd could see his loan spell at League Two strugglers Torquay made permanent.

Lloyd will not be recalled for the Terriers’ game against Southend next week, despite first-choice Danny Adams serving a one-match ban for the clash.

And that appears to signal the end of Lloyd’s career in Yorkshire, if the Gulls make a move.

Boss Peter Jackson told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: ‘Lloydy still has another couple of weeks down at Torquay.

‘I wouldn’t stand in the way if the club or player wished to make the move permanent, so we’ll have to wait and see.’
