KEITH SOUTHERN, the summer signing from Blackpool, faces a further 3 weeks on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.
The 31-year-old was at the Stadium for The Terriers FA Cup exit at the hands of Premier League Wigan on Sunday, and was seen wearing a protective fibre-glass boot.
The boot must remain in place for a further 3 weeks before the tough tackling midfielder can resume training, the injury has forced Southern to miss 6 matches so far, his last appearance was in the 4-0 defeat at Watford; which was Simon Grayson’s last game in charge of Town.
Southern will be a welcome addition to the team when he is back fit as Huddersfield battle to remain a Championship club.
