Huddersfield’s first signing of the summer has been agreed according to reports that are growing, with BBC Radio Leeds among those of the ‘understanding’ a pre-contract agreement has been reached with Chris Lowe?

Kaiserslautern defender Lowe, who worked with Town boss David Wagner at Borussia Dortmund, has agreed a deal to come to the John Smith’s Stadium of a free in the summer when his existing deal with the Bundesliga clubs expires.

Part of the continued rebuilding process under Wagner will see him re-united with the 26-year-old in the summer as he looks to further stamp his authority on the Town squad as we (and he) look to push on in the Championship next season.

In all honesty I can’t claim to know much about Lowe, as all I literally know is what I’ve already said and the fact he’s a full back – beyond that it’ll be a case of Google searching and looking for YouTube videos and the like.

But ultimately we’ll see first hand next season what he’s all about, when it really counts with him in a Town shirt! Wagner knows, and trusts him though, so that should be enough for most shouldn’t it.

Wagner’s judgement would be backed and trusted wouldn’t it?
