Huddersfield Town took a three nil victory in our international break friendly against Altona 93 this weekend.

Goals on the day in the West of Hamburg came from new signing Abdelhamid Sabiri with Laurent Depoitre helping himself to a brace against the German fourth tier side.

Head coach David Wagner made ten changes to the starting line up with Christopher Schindler remaining in the side from the scoreless draw with Southampton and Sabiri and Florent Hadergjonaj were handed their first starts for the club.

Sabiri provided the two assists for Depoitre’s goals.

Huddersfield Town:

Joel Coleman (Robert Green 45), Scott Malone (Chris Lowe 75), Christopher Schindler (Regan Booty 45), Michael Hefele, Florent Hadergjonaj (Tommy Smith 75), Dean Whitehead, Danny Williams, Joe Lolley (Rajiv Van la Parra 75), Abdelhamid Sabiri, Collin Quaner (Tom Ince 75), Laurent Depoitre.

Unused subs:

Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Lewis O`Brien.

They’ll no doubt be a reaction from Wagner shortly but he’s bound to have been pleased with the run out.
