HUDDERSFIELD TOWN drew Bradford city in Monday’s Capital One Cup Draw, and will be at home, in what is a remake of the 2008 cup match.

The last time the two sides met however was in the JPT, with Bradford winning on penalties, after the match had finished 2-2.

Rewind to 2008, and in the then League Cup match first round, Huddersfield thumped Bradford City 4-0.

Bradford’s last victory on Huddersfield soil was over 10 years ago.

The game is scheduled to be played week commencing 5th August, with dates to be finalised after the revealing of the Championship fixtures this morning.

Bradford of course reached the final of last season’s Capital One Cup, and are the first team since Birmingham in 2001, to start the following season at the first hurdle, due to their league positioning.
