Huddersfield Town go into battle this afternoon looking to stretch the distance between themselves and todays opponents, who had spent most of the season contesting the play-off places

Colchester however come to The Galpharm this afternoon with nothing other than pride to play for, and perhaps fancy giving a game to the team that secured the final play-off slot last week.

Town manager Lee Clark could make some changes with the play-off games coming up in mind, however don’t expect any major or drastic changes especially following the 6-0 away win at Stockport County.

Robbie Simspson is being rumoured to be starting all week in place of either Robinson or Rhodes, come 2:30pm this afternoon we will see if that is fact or fiction.

Either way there is still a lot to play for, with 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th still up for grabs as the teams jockey for home advantage in the play-offs.

Vital Quotes: Lee Clark

‘I expect Colchester to be tough, physical and determined and they will want to put one over on the team that has effectively knocked them out of the Play-Offs. Their manager has a lot of passion and desire and I’m expecting a very tough game.

‘We’ll go into the rest of the season with real confidence, without going over the top. We won’t be overconfident or arrogant or disrespect any of our opponents – we never have done that and we never will.’
